Marina Amores

Journalist and producer specialising in video games and gender.

Marina Amores has a degree in Audiovisual Communication and a master’s degree in Creative Documentary Theory and Practice. She has worked at Eurogamer.es, PlayGround and several companies in the video games sector, such as UPlay Online and Barspin Studios. She is a video game journalist for print magazines such as SFX and EDGE España. She currently writes about video games for Mundo Deportivo. She is the lead organiser of Gaming Ladies, an event devoted to the video game industry, exclusively for women. She is the coordinator and co-author of ¡Protesto!, the first collection of essays in Spanish about video games from a gender perspective. She is also director of Nerfeadas, a documentary series about sexism in video games.
