Guillermo Orts-Gil (b. 1978) was born in Barcelona and lives in Berlin. After earning a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the Technical University of Berlin, he spent ten years working in the field of nanobiomedicine at the Max Planck Society, became Director of Communications at the Association of Spanish Scientists in Germany (CERFA) and then went to London to learn to write at The Guardian. He currently works as International Scientific Coordinator, contributes to media outlets such as The Huffington Post, the magazine Investigación y Ciencia and the webzine EuroScientists, and is working on his first book, La fórmula G.
