Elena Duque

Specialist in cinema, writer and audiovisual programmer. She has collaborated with film festivals such as Gijón, Rotterdam, Toronto, Bafici, Sevilla and Mostra de Cinema Periferico de A Coruña.

Elena Duque has worked with the Gijón International Film Festival, the International Film Festival Rotterdam, Images festival in Toronto, and Bafici in Buenos Aires, for which she edited the book Val del Omar. Más allá de la órbita terrestre. She is Head of Publications and programming consultant for the Seville European Film Festival, and programmer for (S8) Mostra de Cinema Periférico in A Coruña. She has contributed to numerous publications including Diario Público, Caimán Cuadernos de Cine, Lumière and La Furia Umana. She has also made several animation and experimental films, such as Cómo hacer un fanzine, exhibited at CA2M in Madrid, De cara a la galeria, premiered at Curta 8 (Curitiba, Brazil), and La mar salada, selected for Transient Visions (New York), Moving (Kyoto) and the Florida Experimental Film Festival.
