Tamara Vázquez Schröder

PhD student in Experimental Particle Physics at the University of Göttingen and participant in the CERN Summer School.

Tamara Vázquez Schröder (Argentina, 1988) is a PhD student in Experimental Particles Physics at the University of Göttingen, Germany, and is working on the ATLAS experiment for the LHC (Large Hadron Collider). The central subject of her thesis is the study of top quark properties and couplings.

She studied Physics at the University of La Laguna, Tenerife. During her studies her passionate interest in the world of High Energies was aroused, then consolidated when she was selected for participation in the prestigious CERN Summer School in 2010.

In addition to her interest in research, Tamara has also participated in various dissemination activities in Germany and at CERN, as well as the Kosmopolis Festival 2013, which enabled her to combine to great passions that, in reality, have a great deal in common: Science and literature.
