A specialist in museology, heritage and new technologies, and author of research on orientalism and the relationship between tourism and culture.
Betoret has formed part of the Communication and Publics Department of the CCCB (Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona) since 2002 and is the tutor on the online international master’s degree in Cultural Management at the University of Alcalá de Henares.
She holds a PhD in Human, Social and Legal Sciences from the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya. She has a European Master’s Degree in Information and Knowledge Society, and a Postgraduate Degree in Archaeological Heritage and Cultural Resources from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. She is a member of the Associació Catalana de Gestors Culturals and the Association pour l’Art et l’Histoire Timourides.
