Laboria Cuboniks

Xenofeminist collective made up of Diann Bauer, Helen Hester, Amy Ireland, Patricia Reed, Katrina Burch and Lucca Fraser.

In 2015 they launched the Xenofeminism Manifesto: A Politics for Alientation, translated into 18 languages on the internet, and which rapidly became a global phenomenon both within and without the sphere of academic theory. Spread across five countries and three continents, the authors have continued to develop the theory constructed with Laboria Cuboniks separately (and sometimes also together), incorporating the fields of art, design, architecture, philosophy, digital music, experimental poetry, evolutionary algorithms and post-cybernetic theory. Their ideas around technomaterialism, antinaturalism and gender politics serve as inspiration for the leading edge of twenty-first century thought.
