Dolors Reig

Social psychologist, specialist in social media and education, she is the chief editor of El caparazón.

She directed numerous Educational Centres, Programmes and Projects for around twenty years, and now works as a freelance teacher, lecturer, and consultant at numerous companies, institutions, public administrations, Universities and Business Schools.

She is a member of various scientific advisory committees in the fields of social media and education, future Internet trends, and digital culture. She also an advisor to several international governments on issues related to social media, education, etc.

In 2012, Deusto published her book Socionomía (Deusto Planeta), which is a key work in what she calls “augmented society”. In 2013 she also published the book Los jovenes en la era de la hiperconectividad with Fundación Telefónica and Fundación Encuentro.

In 2011, readers of El Economista voted her one of the ten most influential people on the Web in Spain, and both she and El Caparazón were nominated and shortlisted for the best Spanish language blog category in the most important international weblog awards, The BOBs in 2008, 2010 and 2013.
