Cristina Sáez

Journalist specialising in science, health and the environment.

She regularly writes for La Vanguardia, the public science news agency Sinc and the benchmark European gut health platform Gutmicrobiotaforhealth.com. She collaborates with the RAC1 radio programme El Món, as well as with various publications including Metròpolis and CCCBLab, and is co-author of La ciencia de la microbiota (ed. Cúpula, 2022). She has also contributed to National Geographic Science (Spanish edition), Muy Interesante, and newspapers including Público and Avui. She was a scriptwriter for the TVE programme Redes, presented by Eduard Punset. She has received several awards throughout her career, including the Accenture Award, the Boehringer Ingelheim Award and the Concha García Campoy Health Journalism Award.
