Arnau Horta

Curator, critic, researcher and teacher, and a PhD candidate in Philosophy at the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona. Both his curatorial work and his research and writing principally revolve around sound analysis and listening .

He collaborates with the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia (MNCARS), the Museo de Arte  Contemporáneo de Barcelona (MACBA), the Centro de Cultura Contemporánea  de Barcelona (CCCB), the Max Planck Institute in Berlin, Loop video art festival, and Foment de les Arts i del Disseny (FAD), as well as other cultural centres and initiatives. He teaches at the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED), and has worked with the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona, the Institut d’Humanitats de Barcelona, and the Escola Superior de Disseny (ESDi). He is a regular contributor to the “Cultura/s” (La Vanguardia) and “Babelia” (El País) cultural supplements, in which he writes about contemporary art, theory and culture.
