Multidisciplinary citizen science group at the University of Barcelona that focuses on arts and public participation as core elements of the way of doing science.
OpenSystems works together with many actors and build tailored-made research collectives to address concerns and issues mostly grounded in urban contexts. Their methodology is based on community processes and they are committed to horizontal research through innovation and public engagement. They are founding members of the Barcelona Citizen Science Office, created by the Culture Institute of Barcelona, and of the European Citizen Science Association.
