Neus Miró

Art critic and freelance curator.

Neus Miró has a degree in Art History (University of Barcelona) and an MA in Curating Contemporary Art (Royal College of Art, London), and has pursued doctorate studies (Central Saint Martins, London). She has been a member of the advisory committee of the MUSAC since January 2017. From 2014 to 2019 she worked as curator at the Wolverhampton Art Gallery (England).

Her field of research has centred on artistic practices in film and video, and the histories of the exhibition. Her most recent curatorial projects include participation in the curatorial team of “Apología/Antología. Recorridos por el vídeo en el contexto español” (Hamaca, 2016), “Insomnia” (Fundació Joan Miró, 2013), “Sharon Lockhart: Doble Tide” (Espai d’art contemporani de Castelló, 2012), “Ficciones Urbanas” (Koldo Mitxelena, 2011), “Objetos desclasificados” (CaixaForum Barcelona, 2010) and Los tiempos de un lugar (CDAN, 2009). She has written for catalogues and magazines (Afterall, Exit Express, L’Avenç) and was editor of the art section of Benzina from 2006 to 2011.
