Gérard Martorell graduated from ESADE and started his career at Beiersdorf, with various international responsibilities. He introduced alcoholic solutions in various countries and has developed three patents on biocides. He also holds a master’s degree in Information and Communication Technologies from the UOC. He gained his PhD at the Institut Químic de Sarrià on the initial contact between industry and research centres. He has published papers on entrepreneurship and student engagement. He currently lectures in Entrepreneurship and International Business at Lock Haven University, PA, USA.
