Francisco Heras

Biologist specialising in climatic change. Coordinator of the Area for Education and Cooperation at the National Environmental Education Centre.

Francisco Heras Hernández holds a degree in Environmental Biology from the Autonomous University of Madrid (1985).

He is currently coordinator of the Education and Cooperation Area of the National Centre for Environmental Education (National Parks Autonomous Agency (OAPN), Ministry of Agriculture, Food and the Environment .

Principal investigator in the project “Society and Climate Change” which studies the knowledge, beliefs, attitudes and behaviour of Spanish people in relation to climate change.

He is the author of numerous books and articles on environmental communication and education.
