Ferran Esteve

Journalist, researcher and illustrator. His most recent project is Proun, a fanzine for research and creation that explores the intersections of art, technology and social change.

Ferran Esteve is a journalist, researcher and illustrator. A graduate in Political Science and in Journalism, he is currently working on a master’s degree in the Information and Knowledge Society at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC). In the field of research, he has worked for the Generalitat of Catalonia’s Ministry of Culture, conducting studies on cultural innovation, historical statistics applied to the cultural industries and comparative political culture. He has worked as a cultural journalist and expert in communication for various publications and public and private institutions. He is currently coordinator of digital communication for Oxfam Intermón, where he runs online activism projects with a special focus on social and economic inequality. On the creative side, he is a comic book illustrator and artist, as well as a self-publisher of artistic publications. His latest project is “Proun”, a periodical fanzine on research and creation that explores the intersections between art, technology and social change.
