In this interview, Aron Pilhofer talks about data journalism, new information technologies and the future of journalism.

Aron Pilhofer is multimedia editor of the New York Times and co-founder of Documentcloud.org, a start-up designed to help journalists find documents, analyse them and share them. At present, this tool contains 1 million documents and is used by over 800 news teams worldwide. He is also co-founder of Hacks & Hackers, informal meetings that connect journalists and programmers so that they can work together. These are currently being held around the world and have thousands of followers.
